I was thinking recently about the phrase "eternal optimist" which led me to the dictionary.

I discovered that by definition both optimism and pessimism are beliefs.

Beliefs are decisions, they are choices.

We choose whether we believe good will overcome evil, or that evil is more powerful. This choice determines our outlook on life,...

 I heard a line in a song the other day, some thing like this. "The weeds grow high where the corn don't grow". 

It made me think of two things.

First: The admonition in Proverbs 4 to guard our, "heart with all diligence for out of it flow the issues (forces) of life.

Second: Jesus made a comment in Mark 4 saying that...

 We are told in Eph. 5:18 "and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;".

We need to BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT, AND STAY FILLED  WITH THE SPIRIT and GO BE JESUS TO OUR WORLD.

Draw out of your "well of salvation", take another drink from the "rivers of living water", drink...
